Muse3

The success story of the Muse range continues with the Muse 3. Our R&D team has re-worked the original successful concept and transformed it into a new glider with a new design. It is not just a school or beginner's glider. The Muse 3 is a great intermediate glider and thanks to extraordinary glide, easy launch, sporty handling and excellent stability it is at the top of LTF/EN-A class The Muse 3 is a class of its own.

In the few years since Mac Para introduced the Muse it has become one of the best selling and most popular motoring gliders in the world. Because of its easy handling, superb launching abilities, and DHV 1 stability, pilots and instructors everywhere recognize the Muse as an exceptional glider. Many gliders in the DHV 1 class are safe… but boring to fly, especially after the student has gained more confidence and skill. But not so with the Muse!

Specially designed airfoils provide extraordinary glide ratio and stability. The smooth shape of the airfoil nose is maintained by Mylar reinforcement combined with plastic rods. The construction using diagonal ribs and a system of load-bearing tapes gives the canopy stability and helps keep a clean profile. The Muse 3 has 45 cells and a nice elliptically shaped canopy with an aspect ratio of 5.00. The glider is light, just 5.1 kg for the medium size. Intensive testing resulted in a well balanced glider with simple take-off characteristics and easy behaviour during extreme maneuvers. The canopy is very resistant to collapse. In an induced collapse the glider gives a rotation of 30 degrees. The opening is smooth and fast. The canopy of the Muse 3 is well damped in all axes but offer lively sporty handling. The light brake pressure allows pleasant turns during long thermal flights and increases progressively towards the end to offer a good safety margin. The Muse 3 is 4 liner and comes with a 5 point riser system and is equipped with split “A” risers for easy big-ears. The risers have 2 suspension points giving the option of free flying or paramotoring. The transition from free flight to powered flight is very simple: hook up the carabineers in the second position and off you go with shortened riser length for powered flight! There is no need to extend the brake lines.

The great reputation of the Muse and Eden range is built on its popularity with pilots and not from our writing on MAC PARA web pages. Existing Muse and Eden pilots will know what we are speaking about. The Muse 3 is a class of its own.

Uniquely, it has the handling of a Sports Class glider with the stability of a school wing. Both new and experienced pilots will enjoy their experience of the Muse.

You will enjoy assistance from easy launch behavior, sporty handling and high performance.

  • Simple preparation for launch, easy take-off with good control

  • Very stable wing in thermals and turbulence

  • Very good performance and stable even with full speed bar

  • Big brake range with progressive power

  • Great resistance to deflation even with poor piloting

  • Good for pilots who are looking for safety and comfort

  • Extraordinary performance

MacJet

The MacJet is a full reflex paramotoring glider and was designed for advanced paramotoring pilots looking for easy glider with a wide speed range.

MacJet has easy launch and landing, performs better and flies faster than other wings by excellent stability and maneuverability

The canopy has an aspect ratio of 5,23 and is fitted with new MAC PARA design. The MacJet has 58 cells with diagonal segments. Lines are attached to every second and the lines are divided to three tiers. The MacJet is equipped with rear-riser trimmers with a long range for decelerating (6 cm) and accelerating (12 cm) of the glider. The risers include splitted A’s to facilitate Big Ears, a wing tip steering kit for accelerated flight, a torque compensator.

Launching characteristics are typical of all MAC PARA gliders. This characteristic offers the pilot easy landings in nil-wind conditions even when heavily loaded. The brake pressure is light and turns are pleasant by closed position of the trimmers. When they are fully released (glider accelerated) the brake pressure increases rapidly. For this trimmers position wing tip steering kit should be used.

The glider is undemanding and resistant to collapse even in rough air thanks to the customized reflex airfoils. It features excellent stability throughout the full weight and speed range. It is easy to manage the angle and radius of the turn. The canopy is moderately damped in all axes and offers flexibility and agility in turns. It does not overshoot or sit back.

We pay great attention to small details. The MacJet is equipped as standard with especially thin brake handles with magnets. The brake handles are fitted with swivels and additional loops for steering by long flight. Thanks to the strong magnets, placing the handles on the risers in flight or during take-off preparation is much easier. Velcro closures on the wingtips make access easier to remove any sand, grass or small stones from the glider.

The MacJet is available in five sizes and covering a total weight range of 77 kg to 180 kg. Please check the specifications for full details.
The use of high-quality materials and constant quality control throughout the manufacturing process combined with consistent development work produces high quality products. We are proud of them.

Eden 4

The amazing success of our Eden range continues with the progression to the new Eden 4

For paramotoring pilots who are looking for the same easy launching and handling as the Muse, but more speed and greater gliding efficiency, the Eden 4 PPG is the perfect choice. It is one of the most responsive intermediate gliders in the ppg market. Everyone that has tried the Eden comes back with a smile. It is both fast and safe. It is also an excellent choice for free flight. With an 8.5 glide ratio this baby loves to soar! The Eden 3 had excellent launch and stability features, and is famous for its proven qualities and reputation in the paragliding and paramotoring community. We retained the successful concept of the Eden 3 and transferred it to a completely new design. We were challenged to improve the gliding performance on powered flight and to introduce and tune a new brake system whilst retaining the light brake pressure, the excellent behaviour during take off and the security and handling of the canopy.

Compared to the Eden 3, the Eden 4 has a better glide, more direct handling and better glide in accelerated flight.

The Eden 4 PPG has 52 cells, which get thinner closer to the wing tip. The slim elliptical form of the canopy has an aspect ratio of 5.23. The line configuration is the same as used in the Eden 3 and helps maintain a clean canopy. Diagonal V-tapes and a system of load-bearing tapes give the canopy stability and influence easy behaviour during extreme manoeuvres. The canopy is very resistant to collapse. It features excellent stability throughout the full weight range and speed window. In an induced collapse the glider does not rotate quickly and will usually reopen within 50 degrees. The Eden 4 PPG uses the same brake system as the Envy. The handling is precise (once you set the angle and radius of a turn it does not change if you hold the brake in a constant position). The light brake pressure allows pleasant turns during long flights, but increases progressively toward the end of its travel to offer safety reserves. MAC pilots already know that we do not have to advertise the easy launch and landing characteristics. . The inflation is smooth and constant in any wind speed, and the wing comes up directly overhead without overshooting. Despite high performance potential and agile handling the Eden 4 PPG has good dampening in all axes. It does not overshoot or sit back. It features excellent stability throughout the full weight and speed range. The Eden 4 PPG is equipped with split “A” risers to facilitate Big Ears. The positioning of the outermost “A” line makes progressive closure easy. We pay great attention to small details. The Eden 4 PPG is equipped as standard with brake handles with a swivel and magnetic clips. Velcro closures on the wingtips make access easier to remove any sand, grass or small stones from the glider.

Although the original Eden 4 was load tested to 8G at 145 kg (equating to 1160 kg) the paramotoring versions are equipped with stronger main lines. We have used this system for 15 years on paramotoring gliders without incident. This guarantees one of the highest levels of security available. Additionally you can order it with DULV risers (two hang points). The transition from free flight to powered flight with DULV risers is very simple. Hook up the carabineers in the higher position and off you go with shortened risers for powered flight! No need to extend the brake lines. Approved according to LTF, EN/B guidelines the Eden 4 offers the most modern standard in paramotoring gliders.

The Eden 4 PPG is certified and produced in 5 sizes. We recommend that paramotor pilots choose their size in the same way as for free flying. I.E. your naked weight plus approximately 35 - 40 kg. This is the weight range in the specifications

The Eden 4 is available in 5 new colour designs applied to the top and bottom surfaces.

Velvet

The Velvet is a unique paramotoring glider and was designed for a wide range of intermediate and advanced paramotoring pilots looking for relaxed flying.

Easy launch and landing, a high amount of stability and a good cruising speed were our goals when creating this glide

The slim elliptical form of the canopy has an aspect ratio of 5.5. The Velvet has 56 cells with full diagonals. Lines are attached to every third rib and this construction allows the lines to be reduced to two tiers. The serial production version of the Velvet is equipped with rear-riser trimmers with a 5 cm range to compensate torque.(-2 cm to decelerate the glider and +3 cm to accelerate the glider). Additionally the risers are split to facilitate Big Ears. The positioning of the outermost “A” line makes progressive closure easy.  Launching characteristics are typical of all MAC PARA gliders. The R&D team paid extra attention to the handling of the glider during take off and to the landing flare. This characteristic offers the pilot easy landings in nil-wind conditions even when heavily loaded. The light brake pressure allows pleasant turns during long flights, but increases progressively toward the end of its travel to offer safety reserves.  The glider is undemanding and resistant to collapse even in rough air thanks to the customized semi-reflex airfoils. It features excellent stability throughout the full weight and speed range.   The canopy is moderately damped in all axes and offers flexibility and agility in turns. It does not overshoot or sit back. The Velvet can also be flown without a motor. Thanks to the serial trimmers, its sink rate can be decreased. With closed trimmers is its climbing performance is at a similar level to normal paragliders.  With this baby you can soar in light lift, thermal in all conditions, and do cross country flights. We pay great attention to small details. The Velvet is equipped as standard with especially soft brake handles with magnetic clips and Velcro.  We don’t use swivels on the Velvet brake lines to minimize the risk of damage to the propeller if the handle contacts it.

Thanks to the Velcro, placing the handles on the risers in flight or during take-off preparation is much easier.  Velcro closures on the wingtips make access easier to remove any sand, grass or small stones from the glider.

The Velvet can be equipped with special PPG risers featuring a longer rear-riser trimmer with a +9cm range for additional speed. There is no EN Certification when fitted with these PPG risers

The Velvet is available in three sizes and covering a total weight range of 70 to 150 kg. Please check the specifications for full details.

The use of high-quality materials and constant quality control throughout the manufacturing process combined with consistent development work produces high quality products. We are proud of them.
