watched the show! |

Sun 'n Fun *
29th
Mar ~ 3rd April 2011
PlanetPPG will have a large booth this year at Sun 'n
Fun, Lakeland Florida. PPGs will be allowed to fly 2
hours in the morning and 2 hours right before dark. 4
hours a day of flying? This should be a fun time. I love
to look at all the airplanes from above! We will be
camping at the airport with RV's - fun and games for
all! |

3rd Annual Beach Blast
* 2nd ~ 8th May 2011
If you only go to one fly-in all year this is the one to
attend. In just the 3rd year, John Black and crew have
organized the largest PPG event in North America. Over
300 pilots attended last year - more are expected this
year! Edgewater Beach resort has the best rooms for rent
at the only full service resort on the beach. 22 vendors
will display products this year - of course PlanetPPG
will see you there. If you can't make it - watch on the
web cam and enjoy the view! |

Mark A. - Learning to fly
Mark is the owner of Lumar Construction in North Florida. He
has completed the ground handling and books components of
the lesson and is waiting for calmer winds to make his solo.
Rare, but winds were too high to solo the entire week. Mark
kited for hours each day and is ready for the winds to
subside. Mark is renting equipment while at PlanetPPG school
and is happy to put off a purchase decision until he is sure
what he wants. Good move. Very nice RV that you drove to the
airport for your stay by the way - living in style I
see........
Eduardo - Solos
Eduardo
and his family have been enjoying the warmth of SW Florida
while Eduardo learned to fly PPG. If you need an apartment
in Newark New Jersey this is the man to call. I bet he
rented 6 apartments during his second week at PlanetPPG.
Since the training is all you can eat, Eduardo is getting in
all the flying he can before heading home to the frozen
tundra of NJ in March! Congratulations Eduardo!
Jeff
is learning to fly
Jeff has
been kite-boarding for years and is ready to really get some
air. Jeff owns rental property and is able to travel to SW
Florida on a regular basis. We look forward to flying the
Lee Islands with you in the future.
Ted is flying
Ted was
a P2 rated paragliding pilot as he entered the PlanetPPG
training program. Since students should learn how to fly the
wing before using the motor this put him ahead of his class.
"You can never kite too much" said Ted. How right you are!
Ted enjoys paragliding and as many different locations as he
can. Adding a motor will open up all the flatlands to his
flying range. Even though Ted brought with him a SD Nomad
and 2 wings with him to fly he is interested in renting some
other equipment just for the experience. I agree again - why
not check it all out?
Bob's Island Adventures
has boats for rent so you can go to Cayo Costa or any of the
Lee Islands for a day of
flying a white sand beach. The family will enjoy the beach while you
fly!
